Meet and Confer
Meet & Confer is the official forum for discussion of issues between the faculty and the administration. It is held monthly during the academic year. Topics typically include university budget, staffing, academic policy and practices. Meetings often contain important information sharing and discussion.
While there may be other meetings of various committees, faculty recommendations are not official until they have been presented at Meet and Confer. By law, the Faculty Association is the single voice of the faculty that may be relied upon by the administration.
Once agreed upon by the FA and the Administration the notes become the official record of these discussions.
